About Scanalytics
Scanalytics makes UK inflation data easy to read. We chart the official figures, explain them in plain English, and publish a transparent forecast of each CPI release that we score openly.
Principles
- Official sources only. Every figure comes from the ONS, Ofgem or GOV.UK. We do not estimate or adjust historical data.
- Honest scoring. Forecasts are locked before the release and compared with the actual figure. Backtests are always labelled as backtests.
- Show the working. The forecast method is published in full on the methodology page.
Data sources and licences
